As a qualified learning and development professional with diplomas in Archaeology, The Romans in Britain, and Genealogy, Dave has a passion for uncovering and sharing history.

In recent years, Dave has captivated audiences with engaging presentations on topics such as Pompeii and Herculaneum, the fascinating history of Fishbourne Roman Palace, and the intricate world of drug smuggling into the UK.

Dave’s commitment to heritage and education extends to his time as a volunteer in visitor services at Fishbourne Roman Palace, where he delivered guided tours of the Collection’s Discovery Centre and the Palace itself. He also led historical walks through Fishbourne Village and Chichester City, bringing local history to life for visitors.
